During summer vacation with my wife we did this nice little summer walk. As usual I was barefooted and stripped to the buff, whereas my wife was fully dressed being responsible to take a few photographs.
Sunshine, not the slightest breeze at temperatures around 30°C in September, so I decided to start rambling naked directly from our holiday camper. Our little walk took us close to a busy main street and I’m sure a lot of drivers saw us. We passed a corn field, walked along a dry stream, across wide empty fields and past a small forest. That was really fun.
If you go barefoot when hiking naked in summer, you should train to get a thick calloused skin on your feet. Otherwise, the feet are too sensitive, it hurts and is not fun. On the one hand it is wonderful to feel earth, grass, stones, asphalt and mud with your bare feet. On the other hand, sharp rocks, straw and wood will poke the soles of your feet. If you’re unlucky, you might even step on a wasp or bee.
